Monet's house and gardens, bequeathed by his son to the Academy of Fine Arts, have been open to the public since 1980. From April 1 to November 1, they welcome hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world each year. The Monet Foundation employs a team of around ten professional gardeners who produce and plant some 100,000 annual flowers, offering a dazzling spectacle of color. From spring to autumn, the blooms follow one another without interruption.
