June 6th, 1944 is approaching.
In Europe, a young German and a young American are writing to their mother, at home. Each one of them is preparing in their own way to go through tragic events. Jürgen, who is living with a Norman family, understands that the increasing amount of reconnaissance flights and bombardments announces an imminent landing, but he thinks it will be in Pas-de-Calais.
As for Lewis, he is sharing the everyday life of an English family. He apprehends his parachuting and the future battles against an enemy he thinks he knows as his family comes from Germany. If it was a different timing, a different place, Jürgen and Lewis could have been friends, but on June 6th, 1944, the colours of their uniform separate them.
