Among the many objectives to be achieved by the Allied troops during the D-Day Landing of June 6, 1944, the radar station built in 1942 by the Todt Organization covers an area of more than 35 hectares. Today the site gathers on 3 hectares essential and fascinating documentation and information on the use of radar during this period. A permanent exhibition has come to life thanks to the association of the Friends of the Radar Museum, and enlightens us on an often overlooked aspect of the Battle of Normandy. Through this work you will discover this unique site, explore the rooms where you will follow the different evolutions and designs of radar, stroll among the devices that stand towards the sky, witnesses of a past that served to build our present.
